Private party and birthday sound in Barcelona
At Alquiaudio we have provided private party sound in Barcelona and across Catalonia since 2015: birthdays, anniversaries, communions, hen and stag parties and celebrations at masias, gardens or venues.

What sound equipment does a private party need?
For a party of up to 80 people, two professional speakers and a mic are usually enough; from 100 guests with dancing, add a subwoofer.
The difference from a home speaker shows when the party fills up: professional equipment stays clear at high volume without distorting and reaches the whole space. If there is a speech or a surprise, the wireless mic makes it much easier.

Home Bluetooth speaker or professional system for a party?
Quick answer: a Bluetooth speaker works for 20 or 30 people in a living room; for more guests, outdoors or dancing, a professional system sounds cleaner and doesn’t cut out.
In our experience, Bluetooth fails just as the person playing the music gets a phone call. We connect by cable whenever we can, or with a dedicated receiver that doesn’t depend on anyone’s phone.

How do you avoid trouble with the neighbours at a party?
By aiming the speakers well, controlling the bass and respecting local curfews, you can have great sound without disturbing anyone.
Bass is what goes through walls and travels furthest. So when the party is in a residential area, we place the subwoofer against a wall that doesn’t face homes and turn the bass down after a certain hour without the dance floor noticing. At masias and gardens, we point the speakers into the property.

Alquiaudio gives a fixed quote based on guests, hours and venue, with no obligation. It can be with a technician or warehouse collection, which is usually the most affordable option for small parties. Message us on WhatsApp with the date and town.
Can I collect the equipment myself?
Yes, for simple parties you can collect it from our warehouse in the province of Barcelona. We hand it over tested with a connection guide. If you have questions on the day, we help by phone.
Do you do karaoke at private parties?

Do you set up in flats or small venues?
Yes, we adapt the equipment to the space, including access by stairs or lift. Tell us roughly how many square metres and whether neighbours are close. Sometimes less equipment, well placed, sounds better than more power.
Can you come on a holiday or late at night?
Yes, Alquiaudio works 365 days a year, holidays included. We set up and take down whenever you need, including late at night if the venue allows. Mention it in your request and we include it in the Rider.
