Alquiaudio sound and lighting equipment
At Alquiaudio we only hire out our own equipment: these are the speakers, subwoofers, desks, mics and lights we bring to every event in Barcelona and Catalonia, and what each one is for.

What sound equipment does Alquiaudio have?
Alquiaudio has a 6,000 W active system made up of two 18″ subwoofers, six Electro-Voice 12″ speakers and 2×15″ columns, run from a 32-channel Behringer desk. It is completed with wireless mics, LED lighting, DJ gear and staging.

Full-range speakers for voice and music. They work on stands for the audience or on the floor as stage monitors.

2×15″ columns
Reinforcement for outdoor events and concerts: more sound pressure to reach the back of a square without raising the volume at the front.

Behringer Eurodesk SX3242FX desk
32-channel analogue desk with built-in effects. It handles bands of up to 7 musicians and several mics at once.
UHF
Wireless microphones
Handheld and headset mics on frequencies legal in Spain, with receivers and fresh batteries for every event.
DMX
LED lighting
LED PAR lights, bars and DMX-controlled effects for dance floors, stages and façades, with low power draw.

15″ or 18″ subwoofer for an event?
Quick answer: an 18″ subwoofer moves more air at the lowest frequencies and fills a dance floor or outdoor space better; a 15″ is more compact and enough for small rooms.
We chose 18 inches because most of our events involve dancing and many are outdoors, where bass gets lost without walls to reinforce it. With two well-placed subwoofers the floor feels full at a lower overall volume, which the neighbours appreciate too.

How does Alquiaudio check its equipment after each event?
After every event we test each speaker, cable and mic before storing it, and set aside anything doubtful until it is repaired.
This log is what lets us say that every piece arriving at your event has been checked. It is also why we don’t sub-hire: we couldn’t guarantee the same with someone else’s equipment. See our method on how Alquiaudio works.

Can I see the equipment before hiring it?
Yes, the photos on this page are of our own inventory and we can send more via WhatsApp. If you need to, you can see it when collecting from the warehouse. What you see is what arrives at your event.
What is the total power of the Alquiaudio system?
The full system adds up to 6,000 W across subwoofers, speakers and columns. It comfortably covers outdoor events of up to about 500 people. For small events we use only part of the system.
Do you hire individual items?
Yes, speakers, subwoofers, mics or the desk can be hired separately, with a technician or warehouse collection. We help you choose the right combination. See sound equipment hire.
Is the equipment protected against rain?
We bring covers and protection, and never expose equipment to direct rain. If it rains, we relocate or pause for safety. The Rider plans a covered alternative.
